Made mortgage payment (third of eight) on the Gulden Hoofd

Leeuwenhoek went to the Weeskamer, where he paid 280 interest on his mortgage, 360 guilders remaining. He also paid 700 guilders to reduce the capital. He had paid 2,100 guilders total and had 2,900 guilders still to pay.

On the 8th of May 1658, Anthonij Leeuwenhoeck brought here first two hundred and eighty guilders for the year's interest of the remaining 360 guilders due in 1658 and a deduction from the capital of seven hundred guilders.
